We will meet at the entrance of the Municipal House. This Art Nouveau building was opened in 1912 and deemed a building “built by Czechs, for Czechs”. It houses the famous Smetana Concert Hall as well as a number of wonderful restaurants and wine bars. Most importantly it was the location of Czechoslovakia’s declaration of Independence.
Out meeting point is right next to this gothic tower at the outskirts of the Old Town, one of the original city gates. That's how we will enter the Old Town.
Over the course of this tour, we will be passing through the narrow alleyways that form the Old Town of Prague, with the Old Town Square right at its heart.
Depending on the chosen route of your guide, you might end the tour on the other side of the Vltava River, in the so-called Lesser Town of Prague.
