Starting the tour on the Max Euwe Plein beside the statue of the only Dutch chess grand master

One of Amsterdam's most famous squares in the heart of the old city centre.

We will walk over Amsterdam's longest canal for about 20 mins. We will see canal houses, bridges, numerous houseboats and a lot of people on bicycles.

We will pass Johnny Jordaan square. The famous square of Amsterdam's most famous folk singers.

Amsterdam's most beautiful church in the city centre. The famous Westerkerk, a 17th century reformed church built for the rich people in the canal district. Rembrandt is buried over here.

Next to the Westerkerk there is a beautiful little statue of Anne Frank as a remembrance. We will have a short stop here.

See the house where the Franks were hiding over 2 years and learn about the connections with the neighbourhood and how they survived over two years.
