"Heart of London – Tour through history, symbols, and curiosities" Discover with me the beating heart of London in a fascinating walking tour among iconic monuments, historic buildings, and hidden corners that tell centuries of British history. Starting from Trafalgar Square, with the majestic Nelson's Column and the famous bronze lions, we will immerse ourselves in royal history by crossing St. James’s Park until we reach Buckingham Palace, where we can witness (when scheduled) the famous Changing of the Guard. Our itinerary will take us to must-see places like Westminster Abbey, where monarchs have been crowned and buried, and Big Ben, the undisputed symbol of the city. During the journey, we will share legends, historical facts, and tidbits that only a local guide can tell. Perfect for those visiting London for the first time or for those who want to rediscover it from another perspective!
I will be next to the equestrian statue of King Charles I with a little flag/umbrella with the Italian flag 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 (please make sure not to confuse it with the statue of King George IV on horseback at Trafalgar Square; King Charles I is located at the roundabout right in front of Trafalgar Square in the direction of Big Ben).
